I would like to move somewhere closer to Universal Studios (or downtown area that is safe and in my $$ range). What are some good apartments or condos to look at and which areas are good to live in?

I would like a 2 bedroom for under $800/month. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You won't find any apts or condo's downtown in that price range.
Universal is on Kirkman Rd and I-4 if you want to map it.
If you go North on Kirkman there are a lot of complexes along there. I'm sorry I can't give you the names of any.
I would stop before you got up to Raleigh St. It gets questionable after that.
There should be some in your range there.
Back behind Universal is the Dr Phillips area. I like this area and you might still find some.
My best advise is to find an address of a comples, map it and make sure it's south of Raleigh. There is good stores for your basic shopping in both areas.
Good Luck!
