Default Any Philly Transplants in Orlando?

For all the Philly transplants here, we found THE BEST cheesesteak finally! It's a privately owned restaurant in Avalon Park and the owners are from Philly too so they know what they are doing. They even use Amoroso rolls if you can believe that. It's called Briantos. Waterford Lakes also just had the Philly Soft Pretzel factory open up we are also getting a Rita's Water Ice in a new area under construction next to the towncenter.

Enjoy!

Then you should know about the Wing Shack on Michigan & Conroy. It is the home of the Orlando Eagles fan club and the televise all the Eagles games there. Everyone wears their Eagles jerseys and they play the Eagles chant song throughout the game. You start talking with people and they are all from Philly. It's a lot of fun. We met a guy from Bensalem there and even ran into him at the Phillies spring training game. Our seat was right behind him. Too funny!

I'll have to try those cheesesteaks. I used to get them all the time when I lived in Central NJ. I am glad we are finally getting Rita's Water Ice down here. Now if we can only get Wawa to come to Florida.

Wow I wonder if they would sell me just the Amoroso rolls? I love cheesesteaks & can't wait to try one but I miss having an Amoroso roll with my coffee every morning. Rita's, by the way, is open in Hunter's Creek Town Center - you won't be dissapointed! As for a WaWa - one can only hope

Wawa is the best convenience store ever, it would be great if they came south because they'd clean up.

Krock - yes, the do sell hoagies along with the cheesesteaks. They also sell Tastykakes and Herrs potato chips. The restaurant has a large wall mural of Citizen's Bank Park and is decorated with a Phillies theme.

We moved from PA and have been searching for cheesesteaks. Definately have to try it! It's about 45 minutes from me, but it'll be worth it.
