Hello, I'm coming to Orlando for one day for the Orlando classic football game between Famu and Bethune Cookman college, can anyone recommend something to do for one day? The game starts at 3:15 I will be coming from Jacksonville, I already have tickets for the Holy Land and I will be going there in morning, God willing. Any ideas? Thanks and God Bless

The traffic around the stadium is going to be very very heavy. After the Holy Land Experience you really might want to head on over. If you aren't bringing tailgating supplies, find a Publix and pick up a few things. Throw a cooler in the car before you leave the house for cold drinks. Everything else you can get at Publix. I suggest Publix cuz they make the best subs. I've heard it's a fun atmosphere at the Citrus Bowl before the game. Now if you do find you have time, the Mallenia Mall is right across I-4, it's a nice mall with nice restaurants around it. Have a great time! |

Oh okay
Thanks, so probably no time for a theme park? Well I believe I'll enjoy the Holy Land Experience. Thanks for replying, I'm even more excited now. I believe I'll catch the parking shuttle to the Citrus Bowl, and the Mall might be a good idea. Thanks and God Bless. |

I would definitely save the theme parks for another day.
Even it you picked Universal, (which would be the closest) by the time you drove over there, parked and got thru the ticket line, it would almost be game time. It's been many years since I went to the Holy Land Experience so I really don't know how long it will take to go thru it. But it doesn't open until 10am. The shuttle parking is a great idea!! |
