Building more roads, in more of a "grid" layout. Get rid of the NIMBY speed bumps and crude cobblestone streets in parts of town. Streets exist for everybody, not just the neighborhoods that don't want people on "their" roads.
Let's say I want to leave my houe, go down the main feeder road (Lockwood), turn right, and only right, to do a "block" to arrive back where I started. That "block" is about 20 miles long. It should be more like 5 miles, at most. |
