Auto burglary? I'm underwhelmed. Armed robbery? Commonly? In an area like that that's insane.

Florida in general is getting is out of control, gangs and violent criminals, you always have to watch your back no matter where you go. I am originally from up north where I left because of the same thing. Over hear no foot cops on patrol like up north. They are very slow down here to catch up with up north. Look at all news websites and you will see. I will be leaving next year after my son finishes college. Not only that, salaries are really low over here and utilities are expensive. Unless you have a pension it is hard to make it down here. Schools are good, that's about it. No public transportation like up north either. People from south hate northerners and make it hard for you. You can get fired for anything without and explanation, even if you did nothing wrong. No job unions either. Think hard before you come down. I am speaking the truth. You cant pay bills and utilities and survive off of 8.00 hr. They dont like to pay overtime down here either.

I hit up that Tijuana Flats a lot. I'm going to ask the little cutie with the killer bod who is there working a lot if she has seen any extra crime lately.

I did ask one of the girls at McDonalds, and she said this place was turning into a "ghetto." I dont agree with that, but in 10 yrs..........................

Are you serious? Outside of a very few isoloated incidents, I don't think you can attribute armed robberies, car thefts and strong-arms to college students. Noise complaints yes, violent crimes no.

REport all gang stuff to 407-845-3111 and get involved in Neighborhood WAtch. Avalon Park now has a strong N. Watch - the crooks just move around and these criminals are coming from Metro West we are working on driving them out pls report any gang graffiti etc. to the above number at the county and to the police always. We live in a good place we need to work at keeping it that way.

Quizno's and that area and any area north of the high school i.e. Avalon Lakes all the way up to Colonial is NOT part of Avalon Park in any way. People refer to this area as Avalon Park but has nothing to do with Avalon. These areas need to "band" together and get a Neighborhood Watch program like we have now in Avalon Park and fight against this crime rather than sit by and let the criminals take over. The crime is NOT college students I can tell you that. And NO low income housing accept for some at teh Rerseve but the new apt.'s going up are NOT low income and will not be the devloper spoke at our Avalon Park POA mtg. and the county is NOT alloweing any subsidized housing any where near Avalon Park and area. Pls spread the word and report any and all graffitti and crime to the police asap to get these things taken care of and get a N. Watch program asap.
