Hi Folks just to let you guys in Orlando know i have found that the Cricketers on international drive have started to sell the best Sticky toffee pudding i have ever tasted. The bar guy said there is a company in Tampa that is making fresh British puddings and they are fantastic. The night i went they had Sticky toffee and treacle sponge as specials and they were flying out. Worth a visit you wont be disappointed i dont know anywhere else that stocks it.

I'm hoping someone can advise me in where would it be best to live. I'm a single mom with a set of twins 5yrs old that was born and raised in NYC but left the big city life about 10yrs ago, I'm currently living in KY and is pretty quiet out here but I miss the city life. Although, I must say I'm sort of terrified of the crime rate I have seen in Orlando. Can anyone share with me where would a good place be. I'm starting over so I won't be able to afford the upity places. Low Income housing or Income base would really help. Please advise if you can on what areas are so, so....
Thanks LC, |

She should look in the East Orlando Area, close to Alafaya Trail, you will find some affordable housing options and decent schools. |

Good Grief... I live in a 4 unit apt. building that has a 2 bdrm, 1 bath apt open across the hall that goes for $650 a month, water and trash paid for. My elec. bill is about $65 a month. I don't know if they do any gov. subsidies or not. I personally wouldn't want to move into any thing like that, but you could do some more searching and possibly find a small house where they do something like that. The local elementary school, of which my 11 year old daughter attends, is called Clay Springs, if ya wanted to google it. They have busing that comes through here, but I drive here every morning, she doesn't like the bus. I'm new to this forum, but familiar with others like this, hopefully you could send me a message with your email if your interested, but I may not be able to message you back as this is only my second post, so might want to include an email address. You might get along good with my girl friend, her sister lives in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, and we have been to NYC for visits, and my g/f lived in Jersey too. I know, Jersey, scary thought, just kidding. |
