I currently live at the Harbor in Casselberry with two other people who are moving out at the end of the year forcing me to look somewhere else. It is too expensive here to live by myself. I am looking for anything in the same area. A studio or 1 bedroom suits me well, possibly under $700.
Any suggestions of the best places(good staff, living environments, etc.) Thanks |

Wow, none of those places had good ratings on apartmentratings.com Well, the 2 cheaper ones had some positive comments but all of them had major draw backs. Wymore apparently doesn't have cable service and Willow Park had a lot of bad comments. Village Green had a rating of 0 with 6 reviews.

Yeah it's the same all over. You pay for what you get. I notice the areas for $500-$600 a month are not that desirable although occasionally you can luck out and find a decent place for that much. But if you want a really good place I see most places start off around $700 up for a 1BR.

I found a place at Lake Howell Arms, a studio for 500/month. Anyone know anything about this place?

Sad to say, but it seems the apartments in Orlando are quite crappy and overpriced for the most part. I'm looking around the same area, after realizing that the UCF area is going downhill like the rest of this city. Not to mention the fact that Florida has really crappy tenant laws, meaning if you want to break a lease you have to pay thousands of dollars, whereas many states have laws saying you can't pay more than the equivalent of two months rent to leave a place within 30 days.
