Advice please (Oviedo, Lake Mary, Seminole: relocating, jobs, house)

Am new to this forum but love the threads and the ton of info that's available.

Will be visiting Florida from the UK in Feb for a holiday with my hubbie and son and wondered what the weather's normally like that time of year?

Also, we're considering relocating and have been doing some research on the web and just wondered if you'd be able to help with a couple of things:

JOBS: We know that H1B's are like gold dust but we at least want to give it a try. OH is a computer programmer (oracle/VB 10+ years experience in programming plus degree) so we think he'd at least be eligible and we've started looking at job websites like Monster but just wondering if anyone knows any others we can look at and what the job market in this field is like?

LOCATIONS: We like what we've read about Lake Mary, Oviedo and Seminole in general - seem family friendly and relatively low crime but wondered what kind of house you could get in these areas for about $300K?

Also we'd like to do more away from the theme parks and would like to visit parks in these areas - any suggestions for a family day out?

Any help with this would be great - thank you
