Why is there so much of it going on in the Orlando and Central Florida area. From Pedestrians, Hit and Run accidents to innocent bystanders just bicyling or walking on the sidewalk, people here seem to have no disregard for human life here, if you are in an accident, man-up and stay there until the proper authories arrive. The daycare incident yesterday just confirms my point and made national news: Police seek driver in deadly Fla. day care crash what kind of spineless maggot would hit someone and leave the scene of the accident causing bodily harm. Only in Florida does this happen so much.

I know. It's getting old. Such total uncaringness and irresponsibility blows me away. Sad. This last guy already had done this before, leaving the scene of an accident. Why does he still have a driver's license????

They run because they do not have a license, a warrant, are uninsured, or are illegal. Scum of the earth, and unfortunately are everywhere.

I agree and would say specifically most are uninsured which leaves the rest of us paying abnormally high premiums.

The @hole who caused the accident that killed the little girl yesterday was a convicted felon (drugs) and had allegedly caused a similar accident in the past few months, and was ticketed just last week for unsafe driving. Forget BOLO, Shoot To Kill on one--I saw nothing.

It's definitely heartbreaking. They can't catch the dirtbag quickly enough for my liking. I'd love it if he could get a taste of street justice before the cops nab him.

In case anyone hasn't seen, he's in custody.

He turned himself in.

Probably knew he would be safer in custody than in public

I find it ironic that he went directly to the jail instead of to one of the police stations first. He has a gang affiliation, hopefully they will accidently place him in custody with rival gang members and save us all a lot of money.
