Why is Deltona taxes so high?
It's not that special an area from what I can see. I'm not saying the area is bad, but just I don't see any special about it while the taxes are quite high. |

I'm getting the idea that no one knows why the taxes seem high for that area.

from what i've been told, it is my understanding, that the taxes in Volusia are slightly higher because of the golf course (built in New Smyrna), and wih all the rebuilding that occured from hurricane damage.

That's a good question Rich. I have no idea why taxes in Deltona would be high. It doesnt make much sense.
