Sorry to hear about your hard time. I hope you can find the help you need. Here are some suggestions:

If you dial 211 from a landline or go to http://www.211communityresources.org/

This is a referral system that helps connect people with churches and organizations that have programs set up to help people in your situation. Its a little late in the season but I am sure there is someone out there to give you a helping hand. Do you have a church that you go to? That is usually the best place to start.

Please think about heading down to your local Department of Children and Families. They have a program set up that can give you some money to help you find a job and also give you food assistance. You can get a lot of info online and I think you can even apply for it online now too. Here is the link: http://www.myflorida.com/accessflorida/

I hope this helps and I really wish you the best!

Heart of Florida United Way - Home Page

The United Way does offer same day help and can also connect you with other resources available.

I know it is a pain to follow all the trails in trying to get help. There are several good charities in the Orlando area who will help, but it does require a lot of phone work. Good luck to you and your family.
