Hello,

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked before: Is Vista Cay a time share property and would I have to attend a marketing seminar?

Hubby and I are considering renting a condo in VC for an upcoming Orlando visit. The property seems spectacular but I have read somewhere that it is a time share type of property. To further add to my confusion, I have read of people renting from owners only to have a difficult time accessing the unit because VC management didn't know of the reservation. Is this a time share property or not?? I definitely do not want to be subjected to a sales pitch while on vacation. Thank you for any responses!

As far as I know it's just a condo complex that offers short-term rentals (vacation, corporate) and long-term leases. I guess it's possible that individual units could be on a time share basis, but I haven't heard of that, and I'm pretty sure they would disclose that up front.

It is a condo hotel. If this is the one you are referring to.....Vista Cay Resort Condos for Sale and Real Estate

Does not mean that they are going to make you sit through a sales pitch, though unless maybe you are getting free stay etc.
