Hi! I live downtown myself and can tell you there are many children/families living in the downtown area. I just returned home from a lovely walk around Lk Eola and a late lunch at a new restaurant. The childrens playground at Lk Eola is wonderful for younger children. I have friends and neighbors with children who live in Lake Eola Heights ( my neighborhood), College Park and Delaney Park. I also have friends who have children and live in some of the nicer condo buildings.

My 8 and 10 year old neice and nephew visit me often for over night sleep overs. They love spending time at Lake Eola, going to the festivals and eating at the restaurants.

Let me know if you'd like more information and I'm pleased to share.

You want to live in a high rise condo with a kid? I think you should look for something along the line of a house with a yard and other children around to play with.

I would think a condo high rise would be very boring compared to a neighborhood for children. You can still find nice homes around downtown.

There are many downtown condo's to select from depending upon your price range. I have a lot of experience with several of the condo's and most offer concierge services and a pool. Be sure to check out the Sanctuary, the Vue and Waverly. There are several other new developments as well. Let me know if I can help otherwise.
