I agree with you that the benefit is there for a reason and genuine people should use it. I was just making the point that i think its sad that a company like this (who isnt laying people off because they are going banktrupt) lays its staff off without even giving notice to its staff.
I didnt mean to offend anyone, i was just making the point that there are enough people on welfare and a company who i imagine made a stack of cash on the sale of that land can do that. I know its business but i still think its unfair to its employees |

they were given a severence that sounds pretty equal to what they would make if they had to work for 2 weeks filling out notice.
