We went on a cruise a couple of years ago, and we got to try breadfruit for the first time in Grand Cayman. They had it cut and cooked like steak fries, and we were in love! We would eat them over regular french fries anytime! I would love to try making them, but I have never in my life seen breadfruit in the market, so I was wondering if anybody knows if it can be bought here? Maybe some specialty market?

I looked it up. Interesting.

Try one of the Latin stores. The big chain is Sedano's. Well, it's big in South Florida with three stores in Central Florida.

Maybe a produce store like FreshFields Farm or Clemon's produce may carry it.

Any of the Caribbean stores on West Colonial should have it.

I was just in the Whole Foods in Winter Park, and they carry it along with a number of other Caribbean fruits.
