Are you coming from England? I have no legal qualifications, this is just my opinion, but 33 years? I doubt it will be a problem. The reason I say this is because I married an English guy and moved to England from the states. I lived there over a decade, then we got divorced and I came back to live in the States. It was as if I'd never existed. No record of me, my social security number, nothing. I had to reestablish myself all over again. Granted, this is not the same as a filed police report, but even those tend to disappear. This is especially true considering when you committed your offense, before the age of computers. By all means, talk to a lawyer just to put your mind at ease, but I think you are OK.

Hi there, im from the UK originally but live here in Orlando now and i can only tell you what i think. I imagine the length of time is too much and nothing would be done, as they seem to be mainly concered with drug convictions and bringing and food stuffs into the country. However, if i were you I would contact the US embassy in your country just to double check and they will be more than happy to help you.

I believe it depends what you were arrested for but 33 years? You had to have done something seriously wrong and fled the country rather than post bond or serve a sentence. Where you are coming from might have some bearing on it as well.
