Hello, I am thinking of moving to the Winter Springs area. I am a female in my mid 20's and I would be going alone. Is this a safe area? Does any one have any apartment complex recommendations preferably around $700/800 per month? Not sure how realistic that price range is, but less would be even better if that's possible!

My main priority is really safety so if any one has other recommendations in the area that would be really helpful! Thanks!

It's mostly nice with pockets of ghetto.

Winter Springs is nice, but most apartments will be out of your range.

Winter Springs is fine for safety but it's really mostly families and single family homes. The nearest you would find apartments would be in Casselberry, which may be in your price range but some of the complexes are shady. I would recommend looking in Altamonte Springs but stay away from Wymore Road. As a young person you will probably thank yourself for choosing Altamonte over WS.

As stated by PP, Winter Springs is a nice area but it primarily caters to families, home buyers or renters. You will not find many apartments in this area. I believe a better fit for a single person would be either Altamonte Springs area or even more so downtown, however downtown would be significantly more expensive.
