Default Best sites to advertise your Rental Property?

Hello everyone,

We are currently looking for a tenant for our property in Clermont/Minneola. We have been using Craigslist and Rentals.com for advertising, but do not seem to be getting much response.

Does anyone have any recommendations on websites that we could use to spark a little more interest?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

I have a rental home in Leesburg, in The Plantation.
I currently have it on about 4-5 different websites, some free, some for a cost.

BY FAR, the best results for me have been ..VRBO® is Vacation Rentals by Owner® Vacation Homes Rentals by Owner

To see a typical listing, mine is Leesburg Travel - House

Worth every penny.

If posting this is not allowed and a moderator cuts it, i apologize. In that case, feel free to PM me for the info.

Good luck! Frank D.

The homes I manage I find tenants for with those sites and from signs in the yard. Most often people near the area will rent from there. I think the rental market is a little soft in the more remote locations. When I get those that want to buy property for rental I look in certain areas that rent easily. I think Craigs can work it just may take time in this market.

To expound on what I wrote earlier, I have had the vrbo website since September and have had 1574 hits so far......that is much more then the other websites I've used. Without getting into specifics, it has been a very profitable decision to use that website.

I will not renew the other ones, but will renew that one....great return on the investment. Well worth the less then $200 per year....plus it is deductible. It allows links to other sites.....I'm able to post many more pictures through the link I've provided.

People thinking about renting for that much money want to see a lot of pictures. With the link, I provide over 20 pictures of my house and property.

I think craigslist is an excellent site to advertise on; however, the market is just overly saturated right now. You need to make your listing pop out in order to get people to click on the link. Look through the postings, see the kind of titles that catch your own eye, and get ideas on how to word your title.
