Need a fairly new car. Not brand new ... 2011-2013..... Can anyone recommend a decent car dealership? Preferably one that doesn't play games with the price of the car by tacking on nonsense fees.

Thanks...

If you don't want to deal with negotiating then there is CarMax.

Otherwise, I would check out the pre-owned cars at whichever brand you like such as Audi, Ford, Toyota, Mercedes etc. I usually stay away from independent pre-owned dealerships because a lot of them try to rip you off with nonsense fees if you were a strong negotiator. If you stick with the brand dealerships they generally just have a dealer fee, which you know ahead of time. You should start by asking what additional fees are there besides sales tax. Once you know that you can start negotiating. If you get up and say it's okay and they don't stop you to give you one last counter offer, then you know what their bottom price is... if you aren't good at negotiating then something like CarMax would be your best bet.

Agree with carmax. Wouldn't go used any other route unless you know what you are getting into.

Craigslist also a good bet if you are mechanically inclined and can inspect the car yourself before buying

I say go to a credit union and deal with their car rep- they find the car and get your sales discounts and good loan rates.

Also check out Evolution Auto in Sanford which is in the middle of the cluster of car dealers here. I've heard good things about them and they have mostly positive online reviews.
