Open to exploring older established elegant neighborhoods in Orlando. Any insights?

Winter Park would definitely fulfill that depending upon your budget.

Agree, Winter Park for sure, especially "Olde" section including The Via's and everything surrounding Park Ave. You'll find more Colonial/traditional architecture although there are a number of tear down/rebuilds that are Mediterranean. Some newer construction that's Contemporary/Transitional. $900-$3m+ and quite honestly not a ton of inventory at the moment.

Alaqua & Sweetwater might suit if you like Seminole co/N orlando in Longwood.

Sw Orlando- Bay Hill and more specifically Isle of Osprey, etc that are gated sections within this large, older established community. (Home of Arnold Palmer Invitational/Bay Hill Club). Then there's Isleworth which would probably appeal to you for it's feel of established grandeur.

I'm a luxury property consultant- if you have questions or would like some personal/prof advice, fire away.
