People with criminal intent is. If long guns or shot guns were involved I am sure there weren't any NRA members among them.

Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

I am not surprised. A couple of visits to that city spooked me, and I've lived in some dangerous places. It seems like a very poorly run place, not just concerning crime and drugs. Coming back from a visit to St Pete, I had planned on taking the bus from Orlando back to Daytona, and what was going in, around, and across from the Greyhound terminal caused me to abandon that idea. I wisely took a cab from there to the airport, where I caught a shuttle back. There are worse places than that area too.

We ended up moving to St Pete and like it a lot, but it convinced me that Orlando was sort of a lost place. No ocean, sweltering inland Florida temps and humidity, and a very large crime problem. I'd lived in Orlando many years ago and hated it, so nothing had changed in that regard. Yes, some people like Orlando. Some people like all manner of things that we consider plain nuts.
