With Orlando being a place of high tourism and so many people coming and going. Is escorting and prostitution as big in Orlando as it is on Las Vegas? I on OBT is where most street walkers are, but what about the areas near Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld? Are the police very strict about that law in Orlando with so many visitors for the theme parks and conventions?

It's much lower class here and stays local.

The general influx of tourists are with their families. This isn't a particularly large sex-trade town.

Personally i think some form of prostituion should be legal like many other developed countries, but prostituion in Orlando is nothing like Vegas, it isn't advertised and just is nowhere near the same level. Even strip clubs are required to cover their nips.

Prostitution is legal in Nevada outside of Vegas and Reno I believe. It's illegal in FL

Either you personally have a bizarre sense of exaggeration on this issue- or you're not well enough informed.

Orlando sees 1/10th the issues of sex trade of LA, Las Vegas, Miami, and the likes.
That isn't denial. That's the way it is.

Are husbands out cheating on their wives here, and able to find sex if they look, sure.
However it isn't a gargantuan industry or a well known hotspot for such.

Oh really?

This recent article in the Orlando Weekly gives a very different take on the subject from the opinion above:

Prostitution, drugs and living life on the Trail | News | Orlando Weekly

"In early 2015, a survey from the state Department of Children and Families revealed that 28 percent of all Florida child human-trafficking victims were located in the Central Florida area, and that calls to the state-run human trafficking hotline have doubled since 2010."

Meanwhile, Sheriff Grady Judd seems to be quite busy conducting stings along the I-4 tourist corridor between Orlando & Tampa:

I'd say the world's oldest profession remains quite established & active in every major city throughout all of FL (much like LA & Las Vegas), & to claim otherwise is rather naive.

28% between Tampa and Orlando roughly mimics, in fact is probably a bit lower, than the population of the state in general.

Believe it or not, Naples is the HQ of Human Trafficking problems in our state.

15 arrested, 2 sought in SWFL human trafficking ring - NBC-2.com WBBH News for Fort Myers, Cape Coral & Naples, Florida
I can only tell you what I know. And the FBI does give you a yearly count, but media doesn't always add all the numbers from all the different police depts in the area. When Tampa had the Super Bowl they were shipped in like fruit! mis-informed? Be surprised....
