Not sure the answer is more government. The root of Islamic terrorism is from when we meddled in the middle east during the 70s and 80s. We trained osl, gave him the weapons he needed to eventually start what is still going on now

name calling? Low IQ? How about this: the massacre in the Nightclub took place in a "Gun Free Zone". What percentage of MASS killings have taken plan the USA in the last ten years?

The shooters past is coming to the present. Kid had anger issues since was in 3rd grade, stayed in trouble in school. Had numerous write ups. Mentioned killing all in school. More to come. I do not get a good feeling bout pop, I am wondering if he had anything to do with the child's anger everything he said is deflections, knows nothing, all was ok. Hmmm where is mom????

I won't call them names but I am disappointed that the choice will be between those two. This race was so heavily manipulated to be in their favor.

Shooter was shopping for body armor and large amount of ammo two months before shooting-

Florida gun owner warned FBI weeks ago about Omar Mateen - NY Daily News

Store owner called FBI - but since shooter did not make a purchase, the store did not get his name, and store video recordings were too blurry.

Too bad the store employees didn't write down a car description and license plate. Maybe... just maybe if they had, and the FBI could look him up, and then see he had been on the watch list.... maybe someone could have intervened.

I know.. a pipe dream.. but these are the sorts of details, noticed by other people, that are one of the only way these lone wolf shooters are going to get intercepted.

Read this story about how a woman noticed something off about a guy trying to break into a storage unit- and this ended up preventing a school shooting and bombing - The massacre that didn't happen - CNN.com

In your scenario, the first 5 to 8 people are probably going to be shot, some multiple times, and some dead, and your trying to sell that as a feasible alternative? It takes me about a second to exchange my hand gun magazine of 14 rounds. How much ground can you cover in a second, before you would be shot?
There are plenty of gun owners with common sense who agree with me. Capacity regulation is a very common sense approach to reduce the devastation of a mass shooting.
