pit bulls are banned in most apartment complexes... when lookin for a place to live just check with the office of the apartment complex if they're banned.. the one i live in bans them and the one before that also... when i go to the local dog parks there are pit bulls there- so they're not banned at the parks, but as long as your pits are friendly then you can bring them to the dog parks....

I know I've heard they're banned in Miami-Dade,what was crazy is that just like 3 days ago I was walking my dog and as I got close to my house a dog ran up to me and my dog, well I freaked out cause it was a pitbull and was scared for me and my dog's safety. He was collared and not aggressive at all,all he wanted to do is sniff my dog's butt.He must have run away from his house, but like I said in Miami you're not supposed to have them!!

They're on the restricted breeds list (like my Shepherd mix) so even in a house you'll have problems with landlords and realtors. As of now, I know 4 realtors that will not allow this kind of dog; RPM Realty/Real Property Management, All American Mgmt., Wilson Management Group & ReMax200 Realty. Good luck!
