Ive lived in orlando for 5yrs before I moved to st pete in 2005. My mom and her husband still live their and want me to come back. My husband who's never lived there think its a good idea that we should pack all our belongings and move there with our two small children. Both girls. I really don't want to, as I hate the craziness and the bull**** that goes on there. Its very competitive, the people are rude as hell and cant drive.
Has orlando changed or is it still the same?

It is way worse, and remember absence makes the heart grow fonder. You'd have to be certifiably crazy to consider moving to this dump. St. Pete blows away Orlando in every area.

Stay in St Pete!!!! If I could afford a move I would be over there Ive always like the tampa bay area.

You can always drive to Orlando to see the family its only a 2 hr drive its not going to kill you.

Stay in St Pete! Seriously. I've lived here since childhood and am sad to say it is not a great place to live anymore. Bad crime and getting worse. We used to invite family to move here...but not any longer!!!

I'd stay in St. Pete - one of the nicest cities in Fla.
