My friend and I will relocate to Florida. I will likely work in Orlando, my friend will work in Daytona. Can anyone recommend a community with a reasonably equal commute to each? Thanks for your help and any words of wisdom.

Deltona, Maybe Lake Mary. Eventually there will be a commuter train between Deltona and Orlando making the commute much quicker....eventually.

Lake Mary, Deltona, Debary, perhaps live near 415 in Volusia county. this is because your friend can take the back road of 415 right into daytona, and you could take 415 to 417 to work in orlando.

I'd really stay away from Deltona or "Helltona" as some would say. Just not a good area at all. Stick to something just over the river in Seminole Co.

I think Lake Mary would be your best bet, but its all personal preference really. There are some nice new developments in the Lake Mary area.
