Just moved to Orlando last week. I have 85 boxes, piles of styrofoam and more boxes from amazon deliveries of furniture, televisions, etc...

So, boxes all broken down, ready to be picked up. OC says they must fit in my blue or green bin to be taken. Our trash bins are ****ing tiny. They say I can take it to the landfill. Sure, myself in my car. Not happening either. They wont pick it up because it "could" be recycled.

Guess who is burning 85 boxes and piles of styrofoam in his back yard tonight? Me!

So did the neighbors turn you in? Hope so. Rules are there for a reason and not following them could actually be very dangerous for your neighbors. Nothing like watching a house/neighborhood/town burn because some idiot that moved here thinks rules don't apply to him. Been there saw it happen. Call for larger items to be picked up. They will come. They will pick up. Or advertise for free that you have moving boxes etc to give for free to someone needing them and someone might come to get them for you. Do not burn.

This might be late but why burn them?

I would think that with so many people moving and needing boxes, you can probably put it on Craigslist or something like that and get rid of them. Maybe sell all of them for $1 but the buyer has to come pick up.

That's my plan after I move there. I'll have a lot of boxes, not as many as you but I'm going to list them to see if anyone wants all of them for $1 rather than throw them away.
