Default Orlando Vacation

Hi,

I am planning a family vacation in September 2008. It will be my wife, 3 kids (under 17) and myself. I looked on Disney's website and saw that 3 day park tickets were going to be $919 + tax, since we live in GA. I was thinking of getting my tickets when we get to Orlando, since we are unsure of which theme parks we will hit first. Am planning on 3 days Disney, 1 day Seaworld, and 1 day Universal or something like that. I know that the tickets are going to be the most expensive since we are out-of-state residents. If I purchase my tickets in FL, do we get the FL resident price or the out of state price? What is the best way to buy tickets?

You will get the best price online. You can get a 1 day two park ticket for Universal and just see as much as you can, in Sept you will see alot. We were able to completely do the movie side and alot of Islands of adventure one year. Two days at universal is well worth it if you could. At Disney you really can spend a whole day in a park you really don't need hopper tickets. You easily can spend a whole day in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM. I would skip animal kingdom since its like going to the zoo anyway. You will miss its a bugs life and the tree of life which are great along with the dinosaur ride other than that though your time will be better spent at the other parks. Fantasmic at MGM is great. Take my advice skip Seaworld and do two days at universal you won't be sorry. The killer whale show was good but other than that we were disappointed, Universal is great, for older people or older kids better than Disney. Don't get me wrong I have a great time in Disney but universal studios is unbelievable especially if you like special effects. Hope this helps. The time of year you are going is great you will be able to accomplish alot, the crowds are lighter. Have fun

Default Hey

How are you? Your best bet is to use the Orlando Welcome Center. They can get you HUGE savings on everything from themepark tickets, accommodations, themed dinner shows, and much more! Just give them a call at (407) 641-5436. They're a great help! If you want, you can also check out their website Discount Disney Tickets - Walt Disney World Tickets - Florida Tickets for more information! Alright... hope this helps!
