Default To Orlando residence, advice on being ETIQUETTE.

Please do not ask if you could help someone, the cut them off by saying wait a moment.

remember to say please and thank you.

when driving, always indicate to move over to the next lane and to turn left or right.

do not stick your middle finger or drive right in front of other drivers to make a point.

please pay your your way at the toll gate on 408. the driver behind who does not know you owes you nothing.

when someone makes a dental appointment, please don't ask for their social security number then refuse them an appointment when they refuse to give it to you for security reasons.

anyone else want to add to the list?

Good points, but you can't BE etiquette. I think the word you are looking for here is courteous. Sorry, I was an English major. LOL

I'll add a couple that pertain to the driving. Please don't run red lights. I know of a couple people who were hit by red light runners and the accidents were serious. You're time is no more valuable than anyone else's. I swear this place has more red light runners than anyplace I have been to. When there are few cars on the road driving in someone's blind spot is completely unnecessar and dangerous. Either speed up or slow down. the toll booth operators in this town rarely say "thanks" after paying. Its completely different than driving on the Suncoast Pkwy out of Tampa. They could learn a lot from the Suncoast employees.

Be nice, dont be rude. Dont cut people off in traffic. Dont run red lights. Stop comminting crimes. Stop announcing things in Spanish over the intercom in Walmart. Stop speeding. Stop acting like it's all about "me."

I would talk to corporate headquarters about that one. I went to Walmart in Florence, SC (NEVER AGAIN!Last time I will walk into a "wal fart" store but it was Florence SC at 11 at night). I heard almost no Spanish spoken there, but the prerecorded messages were STILL in Spanish. I would say the number one solution to that one is to boycott Wal-Fart like I have for the past two years, although at the same time Wal-Fart loves it, because a company like that wants to divide America into two social classes.

I saw plenty of trashy, rude (yes, rude) people but very few of Spanish-speaking heritage. I don't think Florence has many Hispanics. Point being the Wal-fart Spanish thing is more of a Wal-Fart thing than an Orlando thing. Florence also has some parts that aren't so bad.

But I still can't quite figure out how a "residence" can be "etiquette".
