So my family and I will be moving to the Orlando area in the a year. I just want to know where is the best school zone? not to crazy on the housing cost. looking for a 4 bedroom 1 1/2 bath, fence in yard for our 2 dogs. We are ok with being an hour from Orlando. Any help would be great.

Their are many great school zones here. The best IMO being Winter Park, Boone, Dr. Phillips, Olympia, Lake Brantley, Lake Mary, Oviedo and Haggerty. These are all schools in Orange and Seminole counties, I am not as familiar with the other counties but have heard that Brevard schools are also very strong. This is just my opinion based on my own knowledge so please do not get offended if I did not mention other schools here which are ranked/listed in "X" school rankings site.

Avoid Osceola county schools for the most part. Seminole county in the higher income areas such as Oviedo, Lake Mary, and Winter Springs are probably your best bets. Better quality of living in these areas as well. Very family friendly with amenities, shopping, restaurants, etc.

That will give you the school grades. You can also go on ocps.net for orange county.
