I don't know if I can be of much help because I am still in Los Angeles, but you should check out Apartments.com - Free Nationwide Apartment Search with the Most Visual Rental Listings Online. and Apartments, houses for rent, find an apartment, search rental properties - Move.com. Also try craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums. Just be sure to call the communities that you are interested in. In my experience, they list a "promotional" price sometimes, instead of what the real rent would be. For example, they might say that a 1 bed starts at $760, but that would only be for 6 months, and then it would go up to the regular price of $850. Just find some that you like and call around.
Don't give up on Orlando yet - I posted a question about jobs last week and have yet to get even one response! Hmmmmm, maybe we are friendlier here in L.A.! LOL Best of luck in your move. ![]() |

apartments.com...but those are very skewed in my opinion. I would use it to get prices then ask in a diff post about what areas you are thinking about moving to (your age, job, what u like and don't like, if schools are impt, ect..) and people will give you a better response..This is a good group of people...don't get turned off

There are a number of rental companies which you can look at online. Also you can deal with a realtor who can source you properties for rent. Not alot do this in my experience, but this is a service i have started offering. Alot of the rental sites you will find only show properties which have been advertised on them, so i would recommend using both the Internet and a realtor, because at the end of the day you dont loose anything by covering all your bases.
Good luck |
