Default Montverde from Chicago area

My husband and I might have a possible job at a boarding school in Montverde, FL. (which is in Central FL)

Anyone have information about this area or any advice about moving to that area? It is right off of lake Apopka

montverde is west of orlando, about 30 min by car. its a pretty area that once was all orange groves, but is now is becoming suburban. there isn't much cultural amenities in the area, just mostly chain stores. i like driving around the area, because it has more hills and green spaces than orlando. if you like night life or going out, it's not the area for you. if you're a homebody that enjoys pretty scenery, you may enjoy it.
