My wife and I are moving to the Orlando area and was wondering if there are any good churches around. We plan on living in east Orlando or downtown Orlando. We would love some input on this.

You may want to look at the new C3 church that meets in the cinemas at Waterford Lakes in East Orlando. I don't know of another one that thinks 'outside the box' more than that one. I haven't been but have read their pastor's blog and looked at their website. Just put C3 Orlando into a search engine and a link to their website will come up.

Most of the larger churches in the downtown area offer contemporary services in addition to their regular traditional services....but I don't see them 'thinking outside the box' like C3. Although C3 looks a little radical to me - I can see the draw for young people and especially those who haven't grown up in church. They are reaching people who wouldn't look twice at a traditional church.

Another church with a large family ministry is Center Pointe Community Church at Curry Ford and 417 in East Orlando. I have been to this church - it has great contemporary music, many young families and a varied ministry program that seems to be geared to young families.

God bless you in your move. My 24 year old son may soon be moving to another city and I am already praying for him to find a great church and supportive and Godly friends and colleagues in his new location. I will do the same for you.

A friend of mine goes to a church around there called 360 church. They have a good website and I was impressed with them, their mission statement, and some of the sermons they have posted.

I'm not sure of the website address, but a search will bring it up easy.

There is only one place for someone young. Faithworld
faithworld.com

Check out one of the Sunday Services on StreamingFaith.com there is a schedule for Faithworld under ministries. They Stream over the internet live every sunday.

Funny when you say thinking outside of the box I was totally amazed for Superbowl sunday they had the stage decorated like a
football field and most of the congregation had on football jerseys.....such a cool place to be.

I attend 360 Chrurch and love it! It has wonderful music and an incredible message each week! 360 Church has a laid back atmoshere that is filled with a creative and energized sermon! It is family orientated and has a great kids program. It is nondenominational and EVERYONE is welcome!!
It now meets every Sunday at 10:00 at the Orlando Museum of Art at 2416 N. Orlando Av. in Orlando 32803
I'd love to see you there!
