Yes, you can get actual family houses in all of Lake County including Clermont within your budget. We bought our 4/2 in Mount Dora 8 years ago for less than 200k, and a new development across the street is selling some 3/2 for around 180k. If you're fine with thme drive and tolls, it's worth it

Clermont is a very nice suburb of Orlando and yes, it's about 20-25 minutes north of the Four Corners/Davenport area by Disney. It's pretty much a straight shot down Highway 27 to reach Interstate 4.

Clermont has a newer feel to it since it really boomed during the mid 2000's. However it continues to grow today and is still a desirable suburb. It's going to have a lot more sprawling subdivisions and strip centers. If you're not into the cookie cutter feel, it may not be for you. However, since it is farther out from the Orlando core, your dollar will probably stretch a little further here. You can still find a nice home for under $200k here.
