I definitely notice a real difference between Jax/St. Augustine and the Orlando area. It feels much more humid in Orlando!

I don't notice it at all, but then again I moved from San Francisco... it just feels humid in both places lol. I do find South Florida like Miami to be noticeable warmer though, but the humidity feels the same once again to me.

As a native Floridian I would attribute it to air movement. The coastal breezes benefit much like a fan does...even though they don't affect temperature so much, they do help to evaporate perspiration which makes you feel cooler.
