Hello,

Can somebody recommend a reliable and honest immigration lawyer in Orlando? Simple case (adjustment of status for my wife, i485) - we just need somebody who will do it properly and give us a peace of mind. Any inputs appreciated.

Honestly, I suggest you just do it yourself. It is VERY easy, just a tad bit pricey. But it is significantly less money (and less hassle) than going through an immigration lawyer.

Form itself is just filling 18 pages, but what about other things, like the interview, marriage verification, biometrics, etc? Is it also so easy and help is unnecessary? We have nothing to hide, just heard some strange stories about strange questions being asked on an interview (like remembering specific date when the wife visited a dentist for a last time).

I never got an actual interview when I did mine.
Marriage verification was a simple copy of marriage license and proof that we co-exist and know each other. I sent pictures from multiple outings together. Biometrics was a doctor check-up and STD tests, along with fingerprints.

I personally didn't have any issues whatsoever. But then I came from Canada, so maybe they are less strict with us versus, say, someone coming from India.
