Default Best Steak/Seafood Restaurants in the area?

Hello all. We have a convention starting in Kissimmee, FL and am curious what's are some of the best restaurants in the area? I was told Charley's Steakplace. Price is not a huge issue but we don't want anything too stuffy. Most people in the group enjoy seafood, steak, and pasta dishes. Thanks in advance!!!

Charleys on Orange Blossom Trail. Make sure that is the one you go to. Best steaks in Florida.

Red Lobster? How much are you wanting to spend?

There are some great options on I-Drive and Dr Phillips "Restaurant Row". If you are up for a 20 minute drive north, there are also some great options in Winter Park.
I have heard a lot about Charley's but have never eaten there.

Some great but expensive options for steak are: Kres Chophouse downtown, Flemings in Winter Park, Spice Modern (one downtown and one in Winter Park), Morton's (Restaurant Row), Capital Grille (Pointe Orlando on I-Drive), Timpano's (Restaurant Row). I also know there are some options in the Disney area including the hotels (Don Shula's, Jack's Place). I am also a fan of the Kobe/Benihana style steakhouses.

Seafood options: Salt Island (I Drive), Oceanaire (Pointe Orlando), High Tide Harry's (Semoran and Colonial, about 5 miles north of the airport), Fish Bones (Sand Lake and another in Lake Mary), Straub's (E Colonial and another in Altamonte). Most of the steak places I have listed have seafood too.

If you want to spend a little more, I can tell you without reservation Texas de Brazil is the best place I have ever been hands down. Best service, Best food. They even had lobster bisque on the salad bar, by the way, the salad bar was unlike anything I had ever had before. Everything from sushi to a selection of Italian olives, marinated asparagus served cold. It was a wonderful meal.

Texas de Brazil

Check out the website, its all you can eat. They bring swords of meat to your table, you can try them all or just your favorites.

I would second that. They are very good too!
Not traditional steakhouse steak, but more like a Brazilian Steakhouse with tableside service with steak served off a huge swordlike kabob. It is a pretty expensive buffet but it is definitely worth it.

Spice on Lake Eola has an excellent Rib Eye. McCormicks at Millenia Mall is really good seafood and reasonably priced during lunch. Hue (Steak and neo cuisine) is also good overall, although I'm not sure any of their individual dishes would take best in the city in any category. And I know I'm gonna catch it for this one but.....I've been to Ale house and had a really good prime rib there. I'm sure the pitchers of beer may have affected my judgment but it was really good.

LOL, I love Ale House! NO judging here, I think it is one of Florida's better chains for sure. Have not had their steak though!
