Default Moving to Davenport, recommendations needed for neighborhood

My family and I will be moving to Davenport the end of summer. My children are 5, 3 and 1. What neighborhood do you live in? I am interested in hearing from the permanent residence in Davenport. We are flying in from MD in a few weeks to check out the area.

Default Hi there

Well, im not a resident in Davenport but as a realtor i work in this area, and one thing i would warn you just incase you dont know, is that alot of foreign investors buy in the area because alot of Davenport is zoned for short term rental, so there are alot of areas where the neighbours will be changing on a weekly basis simply because the properties are rented out to tourists.

However, that being said there are a couple of nice communities there which i could recommend, it all depends on what size of property you need (sq ft and beds/baths) but also most importantly what your budget is?

Hi,

I too would be interested in knowing about your recommendations about the couple of good communities in Davenport. Can you please share them?

BTW, do you have any input on the Solana sub-division? I was given a recommendation on it, but then found that its HOA is out of control with annual fees of $4000-$9000 per year! Any idea why it is so high? Is this common in Davenport?

Many thank in advance.

I'm also looking into Davenport. Does anybody have a suggestion for an apartment/home of about a 3/2 (or 2/2) thats in a reasonable neighbourhood? I'd prefer something either north of Davenport, or near the Posner Commons shopping center. It seems that Davenport is a smaller area?
