I used to volunteer at a holiday gift/toy giving drive at the Orlando arena (now the Amway Arena) during high school. It was along time ago so I'm not sure if it's still going on but it was a huge toy give away to underprivileged/needy kids in Central Florida. It's sometime during the Holiday season where parents show up, check off a list of toys available and you go through a line where your toys are brought to you. From my memory they served hundreds if not thousands of people in that one day. I wish I could remember the name or charity that organized it but if it's still going it would be a great option. If not, keep listening to the radio stations for toy drives, they usually have big events.

Please check into the Baby DJ program. They helped over 6,000 kids in central Florida last year. I believe the program kicks off 11/30 but you need to write a letter to them stating your situation.

This is a great suggestion! Applicants do have to wait until 11/30, but they really do go to great lengths to get great toys for kids and help providing groceries, gift cards, and other services to families in financial crisis! I hope you get the help you need this year and I am sorry to hear of your current circumstances.
