Where can I find "hot spots" in Downtown Orlando? I'm looking for a few nice lounges that plays R&B music or a mixture of urban music and has a diverse crowd from ages 30 and up.
I went to the Cheesecake Factory in Millenium Mall and saw a lounge by the name of Blue Martini. Has anyone ever been there? If so, how is it? |

Trish you might try B.B. King's down on I-drive. They have a house band that is really good. Check out the website. Orlando B.B. Kings - Home. It's not all 20's... all age groups go. Agreed about the Blue Martini, it's a hot spot for 20 somethings. You may even run into some old N'Sync guys.

There is absolutely nothing for anyone over 30 downtown, it is truly sad. Try Park Avenue in Winter Park.

I am 32 and go downtown all the time. Plenty of people there are older then I am. The Beacon is an example right off the top of my head. I disagree 100% with this post.

Hi Trish
Did you ever find a hairsalon? I just moved from Atlanta and I don't trust anybody with my hair? |

Because I'm so picky of my hair..i decided to stick with a curly weave..i figure you cant go wrong with that..so I did. My hair came out cute. I went to D'Essence and loved the do. Now.................... his other clients..for example..this Dominican sister had a beautiful weave..paid about 100 for the hair..a pack..and he put a but a bunch of oil and spritz,..........you just dont do that...it looked somewhat soo done..not naturl. u know what I mean?? i love weaves cause i dnt have to worry aobut doing it and love the diversity.............no time nor patience..not even to bump it!! in either case, i had to tell Mr. Man to just spray oil sheen..lil bit..and call it a day..i'm not trying to walk outta there with a jerry curl!! Ive had folks tell me how natural my do looks..up north.. In the meanwhile, i'll check ut a spot that specializes in hair all together..whether natural or not.. you can check them out on line..not that will be too impressive..you can also check out Image Salon..and theres another one that Crissyq put me on to..but dnt remember name. Let me knw if you have anymore ques. ![]() |

Complete and utter rubbish. LOL. Lying doesn't help anyone. Of course anyone that has even remotely driven by downtown at night knows this isn't true at all. Seriously dude....
