How are the hospitals near Winter Springs?
We are moving to Winter Springs in June. Have two kids (10 & 8). Is there a decent hospital with kids pediatric emergency? My daughter had a seizure for the first time here in NC and we were sent to Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. The hospital was excellent. My kids are normally healthy and I never even thought of it til she had the siezure and we were pleasantly surprised by the level of expertise, cleanliness, updated rooms and equipment it was a great hospital.
What's a good hospital in the semiole county area? If anyone would like to recommend a good pediatric doctors office that be really great too. Thanks!

There are no hospitals in the Oviedo/ Winter Springs area. If I need one, I use Orlando Regional (ORMC) specifically Arnold Palmer downtown Orlando. They are the best children's hospital in Orlando. Also, A good pediatric group is Interlachen Pediatrics. They have an office in Oviedo and one in Maitland. The # is 407-767-2477.

There is South Seminole in Longwood, but it's not a pediatric hospital. For peds, I'd suggest Arnold Palmer.

Arnold Palmer for Kids
Florida Hospital in Altamonte Springs is an excellent hospital as is the above mentioned in Longwood. When it comes to children though, the best is without a doubt Arnold Palmer. It is dedicated especially for women and children.
My wife and I had our baby there, and I owe my wife's and daughter's life to them. Taylor came out with the cord wrapped around her neck and would have choked if not for the fast reflexes and thinking of the doctor. My wife on the otherhand would not stop bleeding at first after the birth. If not for the hospital's professionalism and experience, I would not only be without a beautiful daughter, I would also be a widow. Bryan

Arnold Palmer - my boss (who lives in Oviedo) had to take his 5-year old to the ER there and he has raved about the treatment they received there ever since. He recommends it to everyone.
