You would probably be better off in Miami....Downtown Orlando is far from exciting for the 20 somethings.

Plenty to do downtown and all over for that matter. Plenty of clubs open 7 days a week! Best part about it, there's always a place ladies drink free! You will not be bored at all.

Orlando has a great nightlife for a Metro it's size (Approx 2 mil) but Miami is naturally better as the overall area is much more populated (Approx 5 mil) and has more of those options and attractions.

It's all relative, if you are from any city one fifth the size of Orlando or bigger, downtown Orlando nightlife is laughable. If you are from Podunk your like wow this is great. Anyone from any city of substance finds downtown nightlife utterly laughable.

Well Providence Rhode Island must be like Podunk because it has the worst night life of any place I have been.

Your in Boston's backyard surely you can find something to do and at least you have more seafood choices than RED LOBSTER.

The number one thing about Orlando that keeps me here is that there is a ton of things to do. There is a bar on ever corner and probably over 50 nightclubs. Here is a link to a list of clubs/lounges/bars by categories: Orlando Nightclubs - Find Nightclubs in Orlando and Read Unbiased Reviews - NightGuide

Only someone who doesnt have a clue what downtown has to offer would say this. Before your spout more of your inane generalizations let me tell you that I have lived in San Francisco, Chicago and Memphis - all of which I lived downtown. They are all unique in their own way - just as Orlando is. I live downtown and on one hand I am glad people like you spew false information because it keeps the area from becoming a nasty, soulless suburb like 99.9% of Orlando really is. Downtown is always alive. Always. Mostly 20-40 year olds out eating, walking, socializing ...I mean seriously, have you ever been out in downtown? I live on Lake Davis and have a friggin coffee shop/ Food market within ONE BLOCK of me. I can walk 2 blocks to Thornton Park. I can walk 3 blocks to Lake Eola. Downtown is one of the most beautiful downtowns in any city. It's clean and full of historical neighborhoods.

Again, please continue to tell the stories you tell because it keeps downtown the hidden gem of this entire area. While Chicago is hands down the best American city, Orlando has so much to offer for people who aren't full of baseless generalizations.

Anyone with any amount of common sense can tell that your hyperbole is laughable and that you seriously haven't spent more than 5 minutes in downtown Orlando.

Keep telling yourself that all there is to eat is "Red Lobster". The thousands of people downtown will enjoy their neighborhood restaurants and activities without negativity from "substance" filled people like yourself.
