We relocated from Atlanta, GA where I used to work as a personal banker. However I'm trying my best to find another job without any success. Anybody have any suggestions or know any companies that are hiring....oh and yes, I forgot! Pay more than $9-14/hour???
Thanks ![]() |

Banking is notorious for low paying jobs. Many jobs start at $10.00 an hour, if you can find one that starts at $14 an hour, I would consider taking it. There is an old saying 'it is easier to get a job, when you have a job'.

You can try Colonial Bank in downtown Orlando. My friend works there and makes about 18/hr, unfortunately I forgot the position she holds there. She's one of those ppl that will not take anything less than 15/hr. She doesn't hold a degree yet, but is eventually going back to school. Alot of confidence is key when entering the job interviews, especially if you're competing with alot of other candidates. She just has the attitude they need me more than I need them, so you just have to sell yourself. However, I would definitely take the Keepers advice, I know for myself once I have a job it seems like more opportunities open up for me. Good luck with your job search and dont get too discouraged. : )

Oh I know that's right! However I do have a job, but I'm just looking to change jobs and it seems like a lot of employers in Orlando pays a whole lot less than in Atlanta.
Thanks for your advice! Last edited by Keeper; 05-15-2008 at 08:04 AM.. |
