Question Safe, Upscale areas?

Hi just relocated to Orlando Area. We leased a condo on vineland...and now see that was probably a bad choice. Please help an "Orlando rookie" and sort out the upscale and safe communities for me!

Help!

You should be fine until your lease is up, but I would suggest you try an area closer to Lake Nona or Belle Isle/Conway or perhaps Hunter's Creek. If you do not mind driving further, I would suggest Winter Park, Maitland, Dr Phillips/Windermere, or Thornton Park/downtown, you could also look at Avalon Park, Baldwin Park, or Celebration for good condo options in a small town center. Metrowest and Millenia are attractive but the area is too close to high crime areas to really suggest them.

If you work at the Ritz, Lake Nona is great for you since you can hop right on the 417 or the 528 and get right to work in about 15 mins. It's a very quiet & close knit community.

I would agree. I live in the Lake Nona area. Lake Nona or Vista Lakes (just up the road from Lake Nona) has numerous condos in a very nice area adjacent to the 417/528.
