I need money!!
Why do most jobs here in Orlando pay so little??? I have applied and been offered jobs here but they are paying between $9-15, like that is supposed to be good... Even management jobs doesn't offer more than 30-35k. I have two degrees and I'm on the verge of leaving Orlando because of the lacking (well paying) job opportunities....

What area is your degree in?
I currently work from home, I don't make much but I also save the money it takes to drive to work which at this point is ALOT. I don't have to buy work clothes, or even get dressed most of the time. I also save the time it takes to drive in the insane traffic AND the other upside is I don't have to worry about getting shot at which seems SO common here now.

Hey, it could be worse. You could have two degrees and be unemployed AND homeless.

You are absolutely right! I'm blessed for what I have, but I also have responsibilities and a family to take care of....and with the rising gas prices, child care, food, clothes...$9-12 won't cut it...

suggestion. CD is not a job board but there are lots of kind smart people on this forum. don't leave your profile blank fill it in so that they can actually engage you in a helpful discussion.

If you want to put more in your profile, go to my settings at the top of the page, edit profile. It really isn't necessary to fill out more, the folks here will help you no matter what your profile says. Besides, no one knows if what you fill out is true.
