Question house for rent

We are moving to Florida at the end of summer. We are looking for a single family home 3+/1+, preferably with a garage. We have 2 small children so good schools and a nice family friendly community is what we are looking for. I am looking at the areas north of Orlando; Eustis, Mr.Dora, Clermont, Sandford, Altamonte Springs, Groveland, Winter Park and Winter Springs. We have been contacting rental property managers from on-line sites but have gotten little in customer service and genuine interest, maybe because we are still physically in Indiana. Can someone recommend a management company or rental agent that can give us a little attention and assistance? We definitely want to rent and our budget is $1000 per month. I know you get what you pay for but we definitely don't want a dump. We will be in the area to conduct business and hopefully would like to view some selected properties at the end of July. The ideal person would consider our preferences, choose some properties for us to view and help with getting it rented (applications/fees/references/credit checks/etc). What ever advise or suggestions you have are greatly appreciated.

You'll get nothing much around Orlando for $1000.

Honestly I think craigslist might be the easiest way to find a good single family rental, that's where many single family home owners put their listings and they are generally responsive on there, have a look, orlando apts/housing for rent classifieds - craigslist

Craigslist is a good site and I definately think you can get a place for $1000. Good luck! Try Lake Mary or Longwood. There are places in that price range. You can drive around and see signs in the yard.

Find a Realtor...

It doesn't cost you anything.
