Default HELP- ohio to florida

My fiance and I are relocating to the Orlando area at the beginning of August. He will be working for the Orange County Sheriff and I will be most likely working down on International Drive or downtown. We have searched a couple places to live, but are coming up empty handed about how they really are, so I was wondering if anyone could give us some information on the following cities. We would like something a little quieter by where we live and a little more like Ohio, but still close to everything.

Here are the cities we have found:

Dr. Phillips
Winter Park
South East Orlando (by S Semoran Rd)
Winter Springs
Oveido
Altamonte Springs

As of right now, we really do not care about the school systems, but we really just want a good neighborhood.

Thanks!

The Winter Garden/Windermere area is very good. Dr Phillips for the most part is also a pretty decent area, but i would keep an eye out as some parts are less than desireable.
