Default RV Parking in Orange and Seminole Counties

I just discovered this forum and need some info.

Both my husband and I are retired. When we sell our home, we are planning to relocate to Orlando or the Lake Mary area from Washington State.

We plan on purchasing a 20-foot travel trailer to evacuate Florida if required to do so, due to any impending hurricane, and for recreational camping and traveling. However, while perusing realtor.com, it appears that homes do not have RV parking.

Do subdivisions allow RV parking or provide storage in a specified location of the subdivision?

It also appears that all subdivisions have HOA annual dues. What is the average cost of such dues? Are there any subdivisions that do not have HOA dues?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

There are subdivisions that allow you to park an RV. As a matter of a fact, I have a travel trailer and park it at my house. Not all subdivisions have HOA or encforce it. There are some RV parks in Sanford and I believe they will let you store it there. I don't know what it will cost though.
