Hello All-

Does anyone know how much the smaller staffing agency recruiters earn?
For example. If I got hired as a Recruiter for a Temp/Staffing agency how much should I expect to earn w/minimal experience? I'm hearing all sorts of figures but I don't know which to believe.

Thanks

In Orlando I would expect you to realistically make between $25,000-$30,000 per year.

I work from home as an independant contract retail/restaurant recruiter. I get paid only when I make a placement. My average yearly salary earns me anywhere from $50-$100K. But in order to be a succesful recruiter, it all depends on luck, creativity, and drive. You need to be motivated to pick up the phone and cold call each and every day.

In todays market, (in S. Florida) a headhunter could probably expect to be paid $30K + commission. As far as how much commission you make depends on the percentages. A typical placement commission is anywhere from 6%-20% of the candidates yearly salary. But to be honest with you, I have no idea what you would make recruiter for a small temp firm. I would recommend you get your feet wet in the heathcare field.
