My family went to Sea World on 7/4, and viewed the fireworks @ 9:15. The park closed some walkways to get around the park, resulting in a human traffic jam that was crazy. Anyone on this forum experience it?

Yes! I was there..we got there right after they opened the park back up form being closed because it was at capacity...around 5 ish...and after the 9:15 fireworks...it was cattle herding to basically nowhere....it was horrible....not to mention everyone was being so inconsiderate, i was about to flip!!! (#1 reason i hate going to parks during the summer or any peak season..we got a wild hair and decided to go play tourist and go to sea world for the 4th since we had our little year passes...prob never again though lol)...i finally pulled my stroller over and just waited for the crowd to die down. it was chaos. ditto for the parking lot...lucky we were on the grass facing the road so we just drove off the curb and by passed the parking lot traffic lol
Fireworks were good though ![]() |

We went to SeaWorld too, but we left before the fireworks started. We knew it was going to be crazy. PLus our little was too tired to even think about staying longer. I'm glad we didn't have to put up with the trafffic nighmare :-)))

Well, I guess I definitely learned my lesson! Will either go to a Disney park (they're always super-organized, aren't they?), or stay local next year.

hahah thats so True..Whenever i take my dad to Sea World with me...he will always make a comment such as "well, its definately NOT disney"...he always says it about the parking...sea world parking is terrible....and he said it on the 4th when we had nowhere to go cuz of all the walkways blocked off...i always crack up when he says that.

I live 3 miles from the fireworks where I live so I ride my bike and laugh at the people stuck in traffic for 1 hour on my way home.

We stayed over, thank God. I couldn't imagine sitting in traffic after the nightmare of trying to walk in human traffic.

Traffic after the fireworks wasnt bad...there was none actually...then again like i said in my previous post..we bypassed the parking lot IN the parking lot by just driving off the curb..so i guess we lucked out and just missed it all. phew!!!
